Hello! My name is Annette Frontz, and I am the author of Seasons of Joy, a series of e-books designed to empower families to incorporate rhythms and routines that help you live joyfully through the seasons of year. Seasons of Joy originally began in 2002 as two yahoo groups, Natural Childhood and Feasts and Festivals, the archives of which are still available online. I began blogging and writing ebooks in 2005. I’ve been inspired by many sources, including Waldorf education and natural family living. This is also the home of the Waldorf Wednesday link-up.

Prior to writing Seasons of Joy, I received a Bachelor Degree in Music Education and did Masters level work in early childhood education. I’ve also worked in the children’s room of a library, taught preschool, served as a LLL leader, and ran my own Kindermusik business.
However, my greatest accomplishment is being a mother to my six children: Michael (13), Katie Grace (11), Nicholas (9), Daniel (5), and Matthew and Molly, my toddler twins. I love being a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom.

I’m also a pastor’s wife, married to my husband for 18 years, a PPCM (peripartum cardiomyopathy) survivor, and a child of God.
My biggest dream for this website is that it helps you grow in love, grace, and joy with your family. Stick around for talk about Waldorf-inspired homeschooling, gentle rhythms and routines, ways to simplify your life so there’s room for those special moments and conversations, and lots of fun.
