Last week we studied the artwork of Wassily Kandinsky, a Russian abstract painter. The Wiki entry gives you a really good outline of his evolution from more conventional paintings to abstract art.

For our project, we focused on paintings like this one:
First, we used crayons to trace everyday objects.
And then we painted with watercolors.
Michael’s painting, which he titled “Color War”. He was surprised to find a monster in his art!
And Katie Grace’s, which she titled “Musical Patterns”
