An echo game:

Will you be my shadow?
Yes, I’ll be your shadow.

Come, let’s have some fun.
Come, let’s have some fun.

Turn around, turn around.
Turn around, turn around.

Stamp your feet; clap your hands.
Stamp your feet; clap your hands.

Bend down low, find a sack.
Bend down low, find a sack.

Empty, empty, just like that.
Empty, empty, just like that.

Blow it up and pop the sack!
Blow it up and pop the sack!

I’m a Little Candle (tune: I’m a Little Teapot)
Start out standing tall and slowly melt.

If I walk, my shadow walks.
(Use two fingers, in walking motion)
If I run, my shadow runs
(Same fingers in running motion)
And when I stand still, as you can see
(Same fingers, standing still)
My shadow stands beside me.
(Use first two fingers on other hand and stand beside the first two fingers)
When I hop, my shadow hops,
(First two fingers, hopping)
When I jump, my shadow jumps
(Same fingers, jump)
And when I sit still, as you can see,
(same fingers, bend at knuckles to sit.)
My shadow sits beside of me,
(Use as before, both sets of fingers sitting beside each other. )

May light stream into you that can take hold of you.
I follow its rays with the warmth of my love.
I think with my thinking’s best thoughts of joy
On the stirrings of your heart.
May they carry you,
May they cleanse you.
I want to gather my thoughts of joy
Before the steps of your life.
That they unite with your will for life,
So that it finds itself with strength
In the world
Ever more
Through itself.

~ Rudolf Steiner
