Daniel loves Circle Time and still participates in our daily circle with the twins. My fault, I guess, for starting with his beloved gnomies. I scored this awesome calendar pocket chart at a rummage sale over a year ago. I finally got around to making use of it!
While I do have some storebought calendar numbers and months, I wanted to put my own spin on things, so we made the numbers, months, and days of the week from recycled watercolor paintings. One thing I would do differently, or maybe I can add it later. is a simple picture to symbolize the day of the week. For example, a loaf of bread on Wednesday, our baking day.
