Monday
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs and toast
Lunch: Nachos
Dinner: Baked potato bar
Prep: Bake cookies, cake for Daddy’s name day, soak oats for breakfast

Tuesday
Breakfast: Soaked oatmeal
Lunch: Sandwiches
Dinner: Taco soup, salad, and fresh bread
Prep: Blender applesauce, bread for dinner

Wednesday
Breakfast: Journeycakes
Lunch:
Bellybuttons (tortellini)
Dinner: Sweet and sour meatballs, noodles, snow peas
Prep: Double batch of journey cakes for snacking, double batch of meatballs to freeze

Thursday
Breakfast: Oatmeal with applesauce
Lunch: Sweet tortillas
Dinner: Chicken parmasan, egg noodles, green beans

Friday
Breakfast: Crumb omelet
Lunch: Tuna melts
Dinner: Pizza
Prep: Pizza dough (make extra to freeze), overnight waffle batter

Saturday
Breakfast: Waffles
Lunch: Leftovers
Dinner: Oven-fried chicken, mashed potatoes, peas

Prep: Make bread, soak beans, make tea, make pumpkin bread, bake potatoes for soup

Lunch: Make-Your-Own Tostadas
Dinner: Baked Potato Soup and Fresh Bread; apple-berry crisp
Prep: Cake for Katie Grace’s baptismal anniversary, make bread, make coffee cake for breakfast

WEDNESDAY
Breakfast: Almond Coffee Cake
Lunch: Potato Soup; cheesy snack
Dinner: Crock-Pot Spaghetti and Salad

THURSDAY
Breakfast:
Oatmeal
Lunch: Sandwiches/leftovers; elves’ bread
Dinner: Inside-Out Ravioli
Prep: Make bread

FRIDAY
Breakfast: French toast
Lunch: Beef and cabbage soup; gingerbread
Dinner: Pizza
Prep: Make pizza dough

SATURDAY
Breakfast: Apple pancakes
Lunch: Leftovers
Dinner: Pumpkin chili and grilled cheese footballs

As usual, I’m a day late and a dollar short.

MONDAY
Breakfast: Baked eggs and cheese, toast, cocoa
Lunch: Mac and cheese
Dinner: Slow Cooker Chicken Burritos, chips and salsa
Prep Work: Make bread, keep on canning tomatoes, make broth from Sunday’s chicken carcass, make cake for Nativity of Mary

TUESDAY
Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Sandwiches
Dinner: Creamy corn chowder with salad
Prep Work: Tomatoes, crumbcakes for breakfast

WEDNESDAY
Breakfast: Blueberry Crumbcakes
Lunch: Chicken noodle soup
Dinner: Ham and Potato Casserole, green beans
Prep Work: Bread, pack lunches for tomorrow

THURSDAY
Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Sack lunches
Dinner: Cracker chicken, noodles, and veggies

Lunch: Star Soup (homemade tomato soup with cheese star cutouts)
Dinner: Labor Day Picnic! Hamburgers with all the fixin’s, corn on the cob, tomatoes with mozarella, veggie chips, and crudites, root beer floats
Snacks and Cooking Projects: Apples with handles
Prep Work: Make bread, make Harvard beets, make extra corn on the cob and cut and freeze the extras, make salad for tomorrow, make burgers

TUESDAY
Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Noodle “worm” salad
Dinner: Slow cooker lasagna and green beans
Snacks and Cooking Projects: Soft pretzels
Prep Work: Make breakfast bread for tomorrow, sort out salad bar ingredients

Menu Plan Monday for the Week of July 14

Monday: Theoretically, this was a make-up day on the official menu. Alternately, I was going to make pasta. But honestly? I ordered subs.

Tuesday: Baked lima beans

Wednesday: Mom’s Stew and Popovers

Thursday: Cheese enchiladas, chips and salsa

Friday: Pizza!

Saturday: Roast chicken, potatoes, and peas

Sunday:Chicken stir fry

And, on a somewhat unrelated note, I can’t keep this blog template. It’s making the spacing all crazy. So, if the spacing doesn’t seem crazy to you, it’s because you missed the rainbow flower blog. So sorry!

Monday: Potato scalloped with ham, green beans with mint, homemade pudding
Tuesday: Pizza pinto beans, salad, smoothie pops for desert
Wednesday: Sloppy Joes on buns, veggie stix
Thursday: Bean goulash and salad or veggie stix leftovers
Friday: Homemade pizza and salad or veggie stix leftovers (See a theme? In the summer, I just prep a bunch and keep serving it until it’s gone) and popcorn balls for desert
Saturday: Chicken wings, salad/veggie stix, potatoes
Sunday: Spaghetti, salad, garlic bread

Monday: Turkey cutlets and couscous, crispy carrot ribbons, and vanilla pudding with bananas
Tuesday: Chicken and Dumplings
Wednesday: Spring veggie soup and popovers
Thursday: Beef stroganoff with homemade egg noodles; fresh green neans
Friday: Pizza with the Scouts
Saturday: Baked spaghetti with zucchini
Sunday: Dinner at the church with the youth

Monday: Beef fajitas, guacamole and salsa with tortilla chips
Tuesday: Beef stew and Phoenician bread (made as part of a homeschooling project)
Wednesday: Sweet pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans
Thursday: Polka dot soup, carrot and celery sticks, popovers
Friday: Cheese pizza and salad
Saturday: At church with youth group (end of 30-Hour Famine)
Sunday: At church with the youth group (Confirmation)

Corn Chowder and One-Hour Baguettes
Tuesday: Potato Pie with Ham and Peas
Wednesday: Broiled Scallops, Rice, and Peas
Thursday: Ham, Potatoes, and Green Beans in the crock pot
Friday: Pizza Night!
Saturday: Our Story of the World African Feast– Chicken with figs, papaya rice, and fried plantains
Sunday: Superbowl Chili
