Spring Seasons of Joy

As we head into the final hours of the Seasons of Joy giveaway, I thought I would take a few moments to toot my own horn a bit, something I try not to do too much.

First off, I need to say this:

You don’t have to buy anything.

If you have an internet connection, a library card, an imagination and a heart to deeply know and love your children, you really are set.

Internet connection?
Do some research on Waldorf and early childhood.

The second week of Advent

The second light of Advent is the light of plants–
Plants that reach up to the sun and in the breezes dance.

Now we’re moving up and away from the beautiful stones and crystals that look lovely, but do not grow or change, and into the plant kingdom. The focus this week is on growing and changing, the metamorphosis from seed to plant and back to seed again. It is interesting to note that the poem attributed to Steiner that serves as the framework for the Advent guide works its way through Aristotle’s classification of “the four kingdoms”— minerals, plants, animals, and humans. The minerals found in the soil nourish and strengthen the plants, the plants nourish and strengthen the animals, and so on.

Cyber Monday Savings!

Of course, there’s the Seasons of Joy special on our Winter and Advent books, which you can read more about here. It’s your only chance this season to get the Winter book for $10, the Advent book for $10, or both for $20.

I also have a list of things for sale here that might interest you—lots of Waldorf stuff, pregnancy aids, an Ergo carrier, homeschool materials, and more.

But I thought I would keep a running list of specials and savings that might be of special interest to Waldorf-inspired families here today as well.

The special has ended! But thank you so much for your interest in Seasons of Joy. Please click on the store tab above for purchase.
