A few updates….
Most important, an update on the fundraising for Jenny’s funeral– in a generous outpouring of love and generosity, the funds for Jenny’s funeral, burial, headstone, and flowers were all raised within two days! I’ve been around the internet since the world wide web was brand new and all, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a beautiful display of caring. It’s truly miraculous.
Laying Jenny to Rest is still up and any contributions above and beyond funeral expenses will be used to start a scholarship fund for special needs kids at Jenny’s school. I will also stand by my offer to contribute 100% of any Seasons of Joy sales between now and Sunday to the fund. The total I have been able to donate so far is $105. Thank you for helping me help Jenny.
If you could do one last thing, please say a prayer for Jenny and those who love her tomorrow morning. Services will be held tomorrow morning, and you can read Jenny’s obituary here.
And, an update of a more personal nature…
today at our ultrasound, we found two little sweet peas curled up next to one another…
One boy and one girl!

We’re amazingly blessed.

For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you.
