Blogging is a lot like exercise.
Or eating healthy.
Or a billion other things that kind of seem like a pain in the butt until you actually do them and then you want to kick yourself because, DUH! You really enjoy it, so why the heck did it take so long?
Or at least that’s what I am telling myself.
We are having such a great time here in our new home. The church is great, the town is great, the house is great. But I’ve been feeling some pangs of regret about not blogging, so I’m going to hop back on the horse and see how it goes.
And in that spirit, I want to share a couple of blogging topics I have in mind.
First, starting this week, we are shaking our groove thang! I’ve had this on my heart for a while. I thought about writing another ebook, and who knows, maybe some day I will. But for now, I would like to invite you along on a 10-week journey for getting your groove back. We’re going to look at our daily rhythms and routines and whip those suckers back into shape. If you’re anything like me, you have the basic foundations in place. You know what you want your days to look like. You know how you want them to feel. But somehow, there’s a gap between what’s in your head and what’s actually happening. So we’re going to jump right in this week and take a look at the part of the day that sets the whole tone– the morning routine. Feel free to share– accountability will force me to follow through!

I think next on the to-do list will be to make a new button!
Second, in our family we like to have themes in the summer. We’ve done Hogwarts Summer School in the past as well as Olympian Day Camp and the Frontz Family Detective Agency. Moving sort of threw a wrench in the works, so we’ve decided to do a series of mini-camps instead. This week is science week and I hope to share some science fun from toddlers to teens!
Finally, a while back I was going to try to do a series “A Month of…” and each month focus on a different day of the week. Well, that didn’t quite work out the way I planned, so we’re going to try again. July will be “A Month of Mondays.” We’ll look at the color and grain of the day, the chore of the day, all the special things that make Monday MONDAY, and we’ll take it slow and spread it out over the month.
I’d like to do some giveaways and reviews in July as well, so let me know if you would like to sponsor a giveaway!
See you tomorrow when we start talking morning routines!

Did you read my mind? Excited for your musings.
