I have been a very naughty blogger.
We started school and have been trying so many wonderful and new things… and I haven’t shared any of them.
We’ve had lots of fun and many, many adventures… and I haven’t shared any of them.
We’ve begun school and have been learning many new facts and started many awesome projects… and I haven’t shared any of them.
But, my friends, I am hoping to change all that, and what a week to do it!
You see, 50 months out of the year, this is a fairly average small city. Sometimes exciting things happen, but more often than not it’s just smalltown Pennsylvania life.
But two weeks out of every year, we have this
The Little League World Series!
And while we’ve gone pretty much every year that we’ve lived here, this year is something special. This year some of our local boys have made it to the playoffs– GO KEYSTONE!!– and the stands have been absolutely packed.
My husband and oldest went last night, and our local boys did good– they won! And so they will play again on Monday night. It’s exciting every year, but having a local team in the finals has certainly raised the excitement level 100%.
In honor of the Little League World Series, we’ve declared it Little League Week around here. I’ll be sharing some of our favorite baseball-related activities this week here on the blog.
