Meal Plan Monday!

BREAKFAST: Cereal, fruit, juice, toast, yogurt
LUNCH: Grilled chicken sandwich, salad, fruit, milk
DINNER: Tacos with lots of veggies
SNACKS: Almonds, yogurt

BREAKFAST: Oatmeal, fruit, juice, yogurt
LUNCH: Ham and swiss sandwich, carrot “chips”, apple
DINNER: Fish, mashed sweet potatoes, broccoli, salad, bread
SNACKS: Nuts, cantaloupe, yogurt

BREAKFAST: French toast topped with fruit, smoothie
LUNCH: Tuna melt, oven fries, coleslaw, peas and carrots, milk, fruit
DINNER: Pollo alla Griglia, mixed greens, roasted potatoes, steamed spinach
SNACKS: Berries, baby carrots in dip, almonds

BREAKFAST: Oatmeal, smoothies
LUNCH: Turkey, swiss, and cranberry wrap, salad, fruit
DINNER: Pork chops with baked sweet potatoes, applesauce, asparagus, salad
SNACKS: Cottage cheese, walnuts, plums

BREAKFAST: Scrambled eggs, toast, milk, fruit
LUNCH: Beef and swiss sandwich, baked potato chips, fruit and veggies
DINNER: Homemade pizza, salad, ice cream for desert
SNACKS: Yogurt, apple slices in peanut butter

BREAKFAST: English muffins with cheese, melon, milk
LUNCH: Leftovers
DINNER: Roasted chicken with potatoes, brussel sprouts, pudding, pear
SNACKS: Apple,popcorn, cheese

DINNER: Cookout
SNACKS: Yogurt, nuts, fruit

You might notice this is a little different than what we usually do. I’m experimenting with the DASH diet to help my blood pressure/sodium intake. I’ve been trying hard to make one set of meals for my family and another for myself, which usually ends with us all being frustrated and way too much crap food. And I know none of us are eating enough fruits and veggies. So for the next week or two, the family is going to ride along with me instead of the other way around.

  1. I love how you plan breakfast, lunch, dinner, AND snacks. I just can’t seem to be that organized! [I mean, I can plan it, but that doesn’t mean it gets done! LOL]
